In October of 2023, I was invited to JLR’s annual TReK Off-road Competition; where JLR staff compete in company-built Defender 130s in a test of teamwork, vehicle knowledge, and communication, all for the bragging rights. During my one week stay, I photographed those teams and their capable off-roaders conquer and compete on the rocky hills just outside Austin, Texas.
